TRIBE PARIS SAINT-OUEN

TRIBE Paris Saint-Ouen, which opened on January 30, is a brand-new 112-room hotel with a boutique feel, where the customer experience is at the heart of everything we do. A true living space, the hotel meets the expectations of business and leisure guests looking for designer, functional spaces in which to work, dine, socialize or entertain, at any time of day.

The rooms, ranging in size from 18 to 24.7 m², offer a setting conducive to relaxation and letting go, combining style and comfort. Some have a view of the Paris skyline, with Montmartre and the Sacré Coeur in the distance, while others, located on the top floor, offer a rooftop terrace – a luxury for sipping coffee while watching the hustle and bustle of the capital! A Nespresso machine, equipped with compostable vegetable capsules, is available in every room. Hospitality products are designed by star Australian hairdresser Kevin Murphy, and TRIBE bedding – of the highest quality with an ingenious statutory bed – guarantees a restful sleep.
Designed to be both sophisticated and perfectly “userfriendly”, each room is also equipped with a 50-inch TV with Chromecast service, a clothes steamer, a rain shower…

THE DESIGN

Maison Malapert came up with the design for the latest addition to the TRIBE brand.
The main theme, which served as a common thread linking all the project’s spaces, is that of lines and stripes. A theme dear to Michael Malapert, it can be found in the lobby, corridors and bedrooms, and which he likes to sum up as “line in all its states”. “We’re interested in it because it’s visually very graphic, but also because it echoes a whole range of very different references: it can be used for lighting fixtures, murals, fittings… and it can be inspired by motifs relating to modern art, tribal art, pop art, etc.”

For Maison Malapert, the DNA of the project lies in this dialogue and contrast between a raw shell and refined fittings. In some cases, the agency left the concrete exposed and certain networks visible, while in others, the space was structured by much more formal, design-oriented fittings. Theatrical microarchitectures in noble materials: copper, marble, velvet, etc. The bar, a large table d’hôte, a banquette niche, a sideboard and a bookcase are all functional elements of the Social Hub to which Maison Malapert has given life, with a very specific identity.

In the bedrooms, the headboard has been designed as a band to bring together all the room’s functions, freeing up space on the upper part of the wall. This space is used as a backdrop for a luminous work projecting graphic shadows on the wall. shadows on the wall. Two signature colors were chosen for their complementarity and coherence with the overall scheme: electric blue for its arty feel, and copper brown, its colorimetric counterpart, for the warmth it radiates.

SAINT-OUEN

The brand-new TRIBE Paris Saint-Ouen is located in the Greater Paris area, in Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, just opposite the new Mairie de Saint-Ouen metro station on lines 13 and 14.
