It all started with people, travellers,

today’s customers, but also property specialists and entrepreneurs with an eye on the exciting hotel market, its developments and its opportunities. Today, the need for accommodation, whether for tourism or business reasons, is GLO-CAL (GLOBAL + LOCAL): what matters is that the place where the traveller lands does not leave him indifferent and promises him a unique, singular and memorable hotel experience, while respecting, of course, international standards of comfort. It was by combining the concerns of this traveller and the development opportunities of their partners, that Jean-Baptiste Martin, co-founder and Managing Director, in association with Vincent Legendre, created Suitcase Hospitality in 2015.

This adventure in the hotel business began with the design of the Best Western Plus Suitcase Paris - La Défense,

between Jean-Baptiste Martin, Groupe Legendre and a long-standing partner, Groupe Promo Gerim. This first joint project to develop, design, build and operate the Best Western Plus Suitcase Paris – La Défense, a 112-key, 4-star hotel, was launched in 2011. On the strength of this first success, and of this rare added value in the development and management of fully integrated hotel projects, Suitcase Hospitality is growing steadily.

To date, Suitcase Hospitality’s hotel portfolio comprises :

  • 12 hotels and 3 restaurants in operation,
  • 4 hotels under development between now and 2027,

representing more than 1,900 rooms and a potential turnover of 75 million euros.
